Sharni O’Donoghue (Director/Podiatrist)
Sharni was born and bred in Corowa NSW and graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. She is a registered podiatrist through AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association. Sharni has worked as a podiatrist in both private and community settings. Although Sharni spends the majority of her time at Corowa Podiatry, she also works as a casual podiatrist at NCN Health (Cobram) in the public sector.

Sharni’s journey of creating a podiatry space here in Corowa was brought to life in March 2020 and she has loved her growth ever since. Sharni enjoys all aspects of podiatry including general foot care, biomechanics and nail surgery.

Away from Podiatry, Sharni loves spending time with her friends and family. She also loves maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle and has two very spoiled pooches named Jedd and Digby, an old-english sheepdog and a pug (they are quite the pair). Sharni loves all things renovating and looking after her garden.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate! Every day of the week!

Why do you enjoy working as a podiatrist?
For as long as I can remember, I always knew I wanted to work in the health industry because there is a part of me that finds great value in helping people – it is my ‘why’. Being a podiatrist has been so incredibly rewarding. I’ve met so many amazing people in the health industry, podiatrists, patients and other health practitioners. My dream was to be a business owner and when this happened it was a pretty epic milestone for me.

What do you love about living in our region?
This is my home and always be will be. I love the Murray River, there’s an abundance of wineries, stinking hot weather, being only a short drive to larger regional towns, the lack of traffic, walking down the street and everyone saying hello… the list goes on. We have a fabulous community.

Annie Cornell (Podiatrist)

Tell us a bit about yourself. What do you enjoy doing?

I have 2 children Mac (5), Daisy (3) and baby number 3 due in June. We live in Howlong and love fishing/camping along the river. I love growing vegetables in my patch, cooking and gardening. I’m also passionate about all things creative.

What is your favourite thing about being a podiatrist?

I love to care for people and see them leave the clinic feeling like they are walking on air.

What do you get up to in your spare time?

I’m currently studying my masters in Art Therapy. I love Millinery (making headwear), and I’ve just finished a mosiac at the 1/2 Acre coffee shop in Howlong.

What made you want to be a podiatrist?

I considered Art Teaching or Podiatry. When accepted into Podiatry I took that path and I am thrilled I did. I have really enjoyed my career as a Podiatrist so far.
